so, if you could get your current car overhauled by chip, what would you want done?
list pics and descriptions of how you want your car to look!
Car... I own one car & my wife drives it.
I do own several trucks. Since all the details to my plans are in my head & the list for each truck is longer than my..... 16" Dye barrel, I will list some of the major points.
'90 F150 - Stroke the 351W to 408", Cleveland heads, reworked factory EFI, built E4oD (trans), gear venders overdrive unit, 3.73 & Detroit clutchless 8.8 rear axle, sway bars, 31x10.50x15 Bridgestone Duelers & my current set of Creagers (cleaned up, polished & some very slight milling.
'78 Bronco - Full restoration, 434ci Cleveland, OEM style EFI, E4oD, NP205, Dana 60 & HP 44 plus suspension out of my '77 F250, custom front & rear bumpers, custom built aluminum rear shell.
'77 F250 - 434ci Cleveland, OEM style EFI, NP435 (trans), NP203/NP205 doubler transfer case, Dana 80 axles (dually width), 22.5" Alcoas & 295/75/R22.5 all terrain tires for general driving & hauling, 16" double beadlocked rims & 38.5" Boggers, bull hauler stacks, cow killer front bumper, 20,000 winch front & rear, SuperDuty leaf springs w/ 7" of lift & 2" of body lift.
'77 F100 - 600+ cubic inch 460 based motor, OEM style EFI, C6 trans built like a mofo, gear vendors overdrive, 9" rear axle. Rear axle will get radius arms from my '78 Bronco, custom built aluminum bed cover. There are a lot of more odd ball things I plan to do with this truck but the main idea of it is to look like what Ford would have put out as a Lightning back in the late '70s. Lowered a little using the stock twin i-beam front suspension & 4x4 radius arm suspension on the rear axle. Yet when you pop the hood, you see a fuel injected mountain motor. No nitrous, no 'blowers', just all motor. Interior, I would love to keep it stock but I have mental problems & want to monitor all the vitals of the driveline. So inside will be stripped down to a point, no a/c, radio, etc, just defrost for heat. Gauges will fill the factory radio hole, climate control hole & the left 1/3 & right 1/3 of the factory gauge cluster will get autometers in there. What gauges I dont put in the dash will be set up on the laptop that is used for data logging & adjustment of fuel injection & ignition.
Now I would like to get one more truck, a F600. Why, cause the mofo is rated at nearly 20,000lbs which is twice as much as a F350 from the late '70s. It would end up with a Cummins built for towing. 7 or 10 speed transmission & 2 speed rear axle. Swap a Supercab on it, build a diamond plate & oak bed for it. 22.5" Aloca rims & 295/75R22.5 tires. If I could get a F600, I would lift the F250 just enough to clear 44" Boggers & have it set up more so for mud & trails.
