decided I'd like to drive down wednesday instead, just want another day of doing nothing. mad crazy weekend in indy for the super bowl, so i could use another day to recoup before I start the trek

made it into Austin last night around 10:30 or so had some good bbq in memphis and texarkana. drive was pretty much good all the way from Indiana to Texas. Light traffic all the way to Dallas, then Dallas to Austin had a decent amount. Only had a few sprinkles from Memphis to Little rock, rest of the way was awesome, no rain and had some sun

I miss road trips..

I need to get my old 62 Bel Air down here so I can restore it and go on mad trips... but maybe I'm just watching too much Supernatural..

Started the new job this week. Lots of moving around, but none of the BS from the last one. Boss never paid me again this week, good thing I'm done there. Payment will be in my account on Monday apparently. 3rd time this has happened.

So happy to be out of there.

woot, finally some nice weather. gonna be 75* today

i love road trips. i think im takin a weekend trip to north carolina in a month to visit a friend. i cant wait! although im not to excited about putting 800 miles on my car in only a few days lol

going on a 7 day cruise in may...cannot wait

oh btw, interview went well. twas grueling tho. pretty tough code questions. not really too worried if I don't get it. right now I'm making 250/week only working Fridays doing video work for the same company I interviewed with. basically helping brainstorm ideas for video and shooting them. then i hand it off to my friend to edit it and after effects it. hoping i can get good enough at cutting and after effects within the next month or two so i can do that for the company as well and make more money at it.

Good to hear. So I have an issue with the new job.. holy crap do I ever get a workout, 8 hours of this is like 24 hours of the last one, I've had like 4 guys tell me they dropped 30-50 lbs in six months working it. be nice to be that low again, but I think I might try taking some supplements and getting out more to bring it down further. One guy was like, I have a six pack now... I'VE NEVER HAD A SIX PACK.

Not to mention the fact that there are benefits and the pay isn't so bad, plus, it's a subsidiary of Toyota and actually treats it's employee's with a little thing called respect. Things are lookin' up boys.

As for that little paintball thing. The Intimidator Super-gun is getting close, should have some parts from a southern friend of ours in a week or so. Just down to selecting a few more things, fine tuning, then some milling and ano. I don't plan on buying a new gun if this works out like it should.... ever. As she sits...

nope haven't heard back yet, i'll call them this afternoon if I don't hear anything. it has only be a few days, the job I interviewed for back in chicago a month or two ago took about a week and a half before they said no.

lol i rarely browse forums anymore... I am here and botl.... I havent had time to get anymore work done on the sleeve... Been working 6 days a week at around 50-60 hours...

lol i hardly ever visit pbn anymore, i lurk on the photo section every now and then, but that's becoming rarer and rarer these days. nothing fun on there since kot ain't over there

funny thing about the whale penar, only peeps to get it, are the ones right here lol i remember days when I couldn't wait to get home from school, just so i could hop on kot haha and you could spend the whole night chatting it up, post after post those were the days.

had a phone interview today, more or less nailed it. I think it went splendidly well. hit every question he had on the nail. said he'll have the other lead front-end developer call me for a second phone interview then go from there. I imagine i'll nail that one just as well. will be nice to have a job, been starting to get bored. no job, and not really anyone to hang with during the day, friend works. and i don't want to join stuff without a job, don't want to spend my savings if i don't have to. asked me what i was looking for in terms of salary, told him 60k but that's negotiable. so 50k would be fine, i could live nicely on that.

if my overtime keeps up and they dont outsource my work and break the union..... I should be able to break 120k this year
